This dramatic two-story deck and patio in Aurora shows how the right outdoor design can boost a home’s function and style. Finley & Sons worked with the homeowners to determine how their existing outdoor space could be modernized, then re-built the old wooden deck with easy-care Trex decking in warm wood tones and an updated railing with integrated lights that gently illuminate the space and cast an inviting glow in the evenings. The result? A peaceful, serene dining area high amid the treetops.  Downstairs, the covered patio was revamped with a ceiling fan to make hot summer days more enjoyable. Together, the new tiered deck and patio give the homeowners a space for everything, from lounging to family meals to entertaining.
