From Dated to Desirable

This Hudson home had served its family well for 30 years—but the small kitchen, outdated master bath, and cramped deck needed an upgrade to better fit the owners’ lifestyles. We worked closely with the homeowners to create a fluid 420-square foot addition that enlarged the kitchen, modernized the outdoor space and transformed the master bathroom into a spa-like retreat.

The beautiful new kitchen is a cook’s delight, with an expansive island, an abundance of quartz countertops, stylish Shaker-style cabinets, and a sprawling eat-in dining area that’s drenched with light. Just beyond the kitchen is the new back porch, which blends seamlessly with the rest of the house to provide a covered area for meals and entertaining. Upstairs, we completely overhauled the master bathroom, adding a luxurious soaking tub with a marble surround, a walk-in shower with a bench and dual showerheads, and a double vanity that provides plenty of room to spread out, as well as ample storage. Together, these changes took the home from dated to desirable—and perfectly meets the needs of the owners.
